• Propulsion systems using storable propellants for space missions: Lunar landing, Mars exploration, Reusable space vehicles

• Control of hypersonic boundary layer transition
• Hypersonic propulsion systems: SCRamjet engine and Combined Cycles
• Combustion dynamics: thermo-acoustic and parametric instability, deflagration-to-detonation transition, blow-off limit, flashback, quenching of flame and detonation
